To our surprise we were upgraded to a suite. It was fantastic with an amazing view from the 17 th floor. When we walked in the room they left a personal note thanking us for staying with them. Never have I had that happen. Front desk staff very friendly and the room was clean. Was impressed there was extra blankets&sheets among with a clothes steamer. Location was great to several eateries. We ended the evening down at the Trolly Bar and had an awesome bartender.

Overall a good hotel in a great downtown location. The room was clean, comfortable, and well kept, and the whole place has a modern, stylish feel. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made check-in and the stay smooth and easy. The only downside is the price; for what you pay, it doesn’t fully feel worth the cost compared to some other nearby options. Still, if you catch a decent rate, it’s a solid and pleasant place to stay.

If you looking for modern, chic type hotel, at a reasonable price, rather than luxury, you'll probably like this hotel. For about the past 4 years, this is our go to hotel whenever my husband and I prefer to do an overnight stay Downtown Detroit after a night of hanging out, rather than going home. It's kinda in a cental location Downtown, so there are a to a number of walkable places to go in the area and it's not far from Woodward. The staff is always friendly and hospitable. The overall hotel smells good and is clean. We usually end up with a King Suite, no complaints about the size or view from of the room for two ppl.
There is a restaurant/bar on the main floor of the hotel. I've only had drinks from the bar, so I can comment on the food. The female bartender was very friendly and makes good drinks! I do suggest they get a new TV in the bar, b/c the screen is yellowish colored, instead of clear.

Stopped in to ask for directions while I was in Detroit for an appointment and unfamiliar with the area. The staff at Indigo Hotel were incredibly kind and helpful, even though I wasn’t a guest. They took the time to point me in the right direction and helped me realize I was only a block away. Thanks to them, I made it to my appointment on time. Truly appreciate the great customer service!

Location is amazing!- easy walk to the stadiums only a few city blocks, markets and restaurants. Ate at the reasturant in the hotel food was delicious and service was friendlyand quick. The only draw back was noise level of other guest was very loud at late hours.. other than that the stay was very enjoyable and would definitely return and stay again.
