The rooms aren’t very clean. For a hotel like this I expect it to be spotless. I’ve stayed here 3 different occasions and each time there were some dirty spots. Shower had small strands of hair, dirt coming off the inside of shower door when the water hits it. There were water spots on the bathroom doors. The sink had dirt underneath the counter and faucet. They need to do a better job with details and deep cleaning. I was never able to connect my Netflix to the TV with my mobile devices. They do not have many dining options for breakfast and lunch in the hotel. One Dunkin’ Donuts for breakfast and 1 sports bar for lunch. One time only 1 elevator out of 4 was working and we waited over 1/2 hour. I do enjoy the spacious room and nice view. Fitness center is adequate.

We have stayed at Hollywood casino hotel many times, but this last weekend was extremely disappointing. We stayed Fri Feb 27- Sun Mar 1. Upon checking into our king suite we realized there was no luggage rack for our suitcase, nor where there any hangers in the closet for our clothes. Only 1 garbage can in the bathroom when there is usually one in the room as well. Our first morning we tried to make coffee in the room but the coffee maker was not working properly kicking out cold water. We did call the front desk & they sent someone who switched out for another coffee maker after we already went down to buy a coffee. They never cleaned the room on Sat, maybe you need to ask now, so we had to call again for clean towels. Also the curtains did not close all the way so there is quite a bit of light in the room, thankfully I brought my eye mask. Upon checking out we realized we left our bose speaker in the room and called that afternoon, we were told to file a claim on line, it's been 2 days and has not been found. We loved the convince of parking and location, but this was not a good experience.

I really was excited about having a king corner suite. Until I got in the bed and there was a big whole inside of the comforter. Everything was great!

We got to our hotel which was booked weeks prior, they called me the day of and said a mistake was made and they didn’t have a room for me for one of the nights, and did not have any available. I got to the hotel and they actually did have rooms available but was charged more than originally booked. We got to our room and it was dirty, the bathroom had hair on the floor, the sheets had holes in them, the refrigerator was warm and I had to keep my insulin shot cold so I had to get ice, then one of the nights decided we wanted to eat in the hotel but our kids were not 21 so we were going to take turns going in to get food and bringing it out. The guys was not nice at all, he yelled at our kids for walking down the opposite way, if my children were being disrespectful or doing something they were not supposed to then yes get after them but they were not, he then told us the restaurants were closed when we could clearly see people getting food. Then we had a creepy guy that was NOT. A guest try talking to my young teenage daughters, wouldn’t leave them alone until security was told. He ran, but not far. He was able to get to the 3rd floor where we just happened to be exiting at. Overall experience was not great at all for this place or the staff.

Wife and I stayed for two nights over MLK weekend. This was our first time visiting/staying at this property. Sat was $99 plus resort fee and Sunday was free. Assumedly this was based on previous play at other Hollywood casinos. Check in was simple. Via the app, they’ll notify you when the room is ready. You can either go to the front desk for keys or use your phone. We opted for physical keys. No one was on line at 230PM. The elevators over the entire stay was bad… possibly some of the worst hotel elevators we ever experienced. Mind you I’ve been to Vegas close to 50 times and stayed at no less then 15 properties. Greektowns elevators were baaaaaaad. Slow and broken down. Two occasions we waited almost 8 mins for a ride. The room however was a nice surprise. A basic room however lots of good amenities. Great shower pressure, clean, comfy, lots of outlets. Compared to a mid-tier property in Vegas, Greektown has much better rooms. Parking was really easy in the garage, no issues. Casino had several older games I didn’t know existed so I liked playing a slot that was 20+ years old. Security and staff in general was nice. Descent video poker options as well. Nice that they have free soft drinks as well. When I didn’t want a beer, it was nice to have immediate access to cold water in a cup. One thing I found odd was that when I ordered a beer at the slot and wanted to pay using a credit card, they had to walk away for several minutes to process it. You would assume in 2026 they’d have a handheld device to run the card to make it easier on the server. In general, a nice stay. Hope to return in the warmer months.
