Zach, Jay Benitez, Matthew, and Daryl, our fabulous hosts, made this place truly special. Zach crafted top-notch drinks, and Matthew made hanging out at the bar genuinely fun and welcoming. Great bar, awesome hotel, huge rooms, and a place you absolutely want to be at.
The entire staff, from reception check-in to housekeeping, does an amazing job. The hotel has high ceilings, beautiful décor, and very reasonable prices. It is also perfectly located close to the border, the auto show, and major companies, which makes it even more convenient.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Atheneum! Our room was great, especially the jacuzzi tub!! It more than met our expectations - it exceeded them. We were in town for a concert and it was so lovely to decompress and relax in our room afterwards. We were also celebrating our anniversary and the atmosphere and our room overall were perfect for that.
We used the valet so we didn’t have to worry about parking, and it was very easy to use - we didn’t have to wait more than a minute or two each time. Plus the hotel is so close to everything - downtown, our concert venue, and more, which made it incredibly walkable!
There was a company party finishing up in conference type room on our floor when we got back from our concert. We didn’t hear the music at all when we got to our room, which was very impressive because we were just around the corner from it!
Check-in and checkout was very quick and easy, and staff around the entire hotel were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Booking staff are sarcastic and sassy. Front desk staff act like they are better than everyone. The only time I felt welcome was by staff handling the doors. Needing to stay her for surgery I thought would be we welcome bliss prior to something ugly but it really was just more ugly. The later it got the louder the lobby got. Even at 8pm I could not reach the front desk from my room phone. Was told I was being given the hospital discount then I see if I had used any booking site at all I could have saved way more money. Between the price, the noise keeping my toddler up late that was about to have major surgery in turn keeping me up late. Not being told that “the parking across the street” was a parking garage not owned by the hotel an added expense we did not account for not were told the price of during booking. Even after I had made it very clear we had never been to the hotel or area before by the very rude lady that took my call twice for my reservation and questions. For such a “high end hotel” your customer service needs some serious management, front desk staff needs skill building in being more welcoming and informing clients of hotel happenings upon their arrival and maybe even an explanation of where amenities are located within the hotel. Even a smile would have been nice.

My wife and I would like to sincerely thank Vonda Hodges, Camille Stewart Cory Baseman, the bellhops, and the entire staff. We hope we're not forgetting anyone, because every single person contributed to an absolutely wonderful experience. The service we received was top notch, professional, and welcoming from start to finish. We truly felt appreciated and treated with red-carpet care- hands down the best experience you could ask for. Also, the pianist was fantastic, and there is so much more we could mention. Great job to you all. We will definitely be back. Happy holidays to everyone!

I enjoyed our stay, just a few issues with communication regarding shuttle service, room service and bar not open one night. The managers and staff were very accommodating with the shuttle not being available, they reimbursed our Uber fare. Thanks to the Manager on Sunday evening 12/14 and the Manager on Monday. They communicated well and issue me a refund for my inconvenience. Sunday bar was closed. Monday evening was communicated to us the bar would be open and later closed for their Christmas party. We were very happy they decided to remain open, dinner was excellent and Matthew our bar tender and server was excellent. The rooms were cleaned, just need a few updates (Bigger TV'S), furniture. Overall our stay was great!!! Will return in the future.
