We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay at the Courtyard Marriott in downtown Detroit. The hotel was clean, modern, and well maintained, and our room was spacious, quiet, and thoughtfully laid out. The bed was comfortable, and everything felt fresh and well cared for, which made it easy to unwind after a full day out in the city.
The staff were friendly and helpful from check-in through check-out, always professional and welcoming. Common areas were clean and inviting, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel felt calm and organized. The location was also a big plus—convenient to downtown attractions, dining, and getting around Detroit without hassle.
Overall, this was a reliable and comfortable stay, and we would absolutely choose this hotel again when visiting Detroit.

I had an amazing stay from start to finish. Richard checked me in and was so helpful and pleasant. He really made me feel welcome. He provided great instructions for how the elevators work with the keys. He informed me that the property had recently undergone renovations. It was my first time staying at this particular location but it definitely will not be my last. The room was amazing and spacious. It was an updated room that looked and felt amazing. The bathroom decor was great! Awesome lighting throughout including the bathroom, updated showers, and several plugs for devices that allowed for brick chargers, or USB A. The view was also amazing. I was on the 19th floor. I was able to see the Detroit River and some of Canada. I really loved it. I'm already looking to book another night there!

Stayed here for a few days end of October. Fantastic stay, good room. Very clean. Staff always present and answered any questions. Felt very safe all times of the day.
Especially love that the people mover is readily accessible via this hotel too. Wish they had their own parking garage, but the Public one near it was fine. Otherwise will gladly stay here again in the future!

Exceptional Service from Richard at Courtyard Marriott Detroit
I had an outstanding experience at the Courtyard Marriott in Detroit, largely thanks to Richard at the front desk. This was my first time visiting Detroit, and Richard went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, informed, and genuinely cared for as a guest.
He provided exceptional customer service by patiently helping me navigate transportation options throughout the city and, most importantly, assisting me with information on crossing the Canadian border. His knowledge, professionalism, and willingness to help made what could have been a stressful situation feel smooth and manageable.

Very impressed. Location of the hotel can't be beat, it is modern and clean and my room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was friendly but I need to call out the woman who works as a valet- I believe her name was Danielle. She is fantastic. Absolutely friendly and over the top helpful- I couldn't walk into or out of the hotel without her saying hello and joking around a bit. I commented to her about her great attitude and she responded "I'm the front line of your experience at our hotel." I appreciate that level of pride and dedication. Great employee! Next time I am in Detroit, this is where I'm staying. Thanks!
