It was my first time here, I wanted to get a player card but I couldn't figure out where to go. I happened to see a woman cleaning the washroom so I asked her if she could direct me where to go. This woman stopped what she was doing right away, and was more than happy to not only direct me but to take me right to desk! She was kind and upbeat, I felt like royalty! I did not expect that at all given she wasn't a person who was working the floor! This woman is a gem! Very impressed with the level of service I received especially from Shermella!

The customer service I received on 6/26/26, in the evening. There were 2 young ladies at the front desk and I believe their names
Similar to or is Nadia and Latoya. The customer service was A #1 excellent and professional. The rooms were clean, firm beds soft pillows. When I visit Detroit this is my home. Thank you ladies for your excellent customer service. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

DO NOT STAY HERE!! I booked a room at this location a year in advance. I chose it for its close location to Ford Field for a concert. I booked and paid for the hotel A YEAR IN ADVANCE. When I just got to the hotel they sent me away because they "overbooked the hotel".
That is despicable. We traveled here in good faith and they took our money with no problem at all. Avoid this hotel if you need a guaranteed room. They have no problem at all stealing your room out from underneath you. ZERO STARS. AVOID AT ALL COST!!

THE REVIEW YOU'RE LOOKING FOR!
The worst hotel experience of my life, honestly. Waited an hour and 45 minutes to check in (which is at 4pm, we arrived at 4:30pm) all while attempting to use their absolutely useless app to check in which seems to have a severe history of unrecognizing ID's based on other previous reviews. Finally, after getting to the front of the line, a couple decided to cut in front of the line from the side (after they had already been processed and left) and the staff helped them before us. After finally being processed, we were told our room was not ready (a room we booked 6 months in advanced). Staff were not giving any notice to the waiting line that it would basically be pointless to wait as rooms were not even ready. They stated they would call us when it would be ready, a call I would be eagerly awaiting at a concert. I stated that at this point we would check in after the concert and to forget the call. They stated that they would make a note not to give the room away - what generosity and proactivity by them! I stated how gracious I was for their kind gesture to reserve the room we already paid for. Miraculously, a room opened up while we were about to leave. We decided to check the room, only to find dried orange macaroni noodles on the white window ledge.
The business clearly does not prepare for the events coming to the city which is quite ironic as these events cause so many people to attempt to use their services.
Whoever is attempting to manage this place should truly apologize to their front desk staff as they left them to out to dry by implementing such poor processing policies and organization.
We were not in any way compensated for the first and last experience we will have at this business. Should any correction be made, the review will be updated.

This place.... Fridge doesn't work, I need it for my husband's meds, room dirty, visible dirt, and dust all around room. Black Mold in shower like they don't scrub it after people are here. Rips in the bed sheets. Alarm already set from last people here can't turn it off. Maintenence just threw some sheets at me (my husband is quadrapalegic wouldn't be able to put sheets on if he was by himself) and told me to unplug fridge that didn't work. Manager supposed to call yesterday... no they have not. They told me housekeeping only comes every 3 days. Even if they do, they didn't clean well enough last time they were here so they need to hire new cleaners. Inside of coffee machine dirty. Very unexceptable. I have photos it won't let me upload of how dirty. I'll be finding somewhere else to post them to tell people to avoid it here. This is our 5th national veteran wheelchair Games and they have never put us at a bad hotel before. I'm not even sure how to get them to switch us to a better place but I'll be working on it today.
