Pros: location is excellent, parking is free
Cons: inquired about checking in early around 2pm, was told the room was available but it was a $40 fee. Ok I'll wait till check in time.
Come back in at check in time, rooms not ready, had to wait till 5:30pm. Had dinner reservations that we missed out on waiting for room. 0 compensation offered from staff for the inconvenience. So you wanna charge me $40 to check in early but then when the rooms not ready you offer nothing. It should be a two way street.
The rooms themselves while nice are clearly being rushed to clean. Dust in vents, garbage left on the floor. Two towels in a room for 3 people and they know there's 3 people in the reservation because you pay a higher occupancy rate for it.
I frequent Detroit often and wouldn't stay here again. I've had better service and standards from 3 star hotels than this place and will stay at MGM or motor city next time. Really not what I expected and overall disappointed.

We booked 4 rooms to celebrate my son’s 21st birthday. The staff was amazing and the rooms were great, however the room was muggy for some reason. Just our room and you could see condensation on the window in January. Also they only had one working elevator for 30 floors, we ended up taking the stairs but we were on the 20th floor which is not want you want to do when you’re on vacation. When we had our luggage and had to use the elevator we would wait 20-30 minutes.

Check in was fine but the staff is less than friendly. They weren’t rude, just didn’t seem interested. I would not describe this as a 4-star hotel. My sheets were dirty when I got to the room. I cashed the front desk to have someone change them. The person on the phone said they can send up some sheets or I could get new ones from the front desk because they don’t have daily housekeeping. I told her I obviously would not be doing that. They agreed to send someone to change them.
You can’t call down to valet to have them get your car. Most nicer hotels allow that. In my opinion, the amenities were subpar for this level of hotel.

Rooms are dirty.. haven't been vacuumed in awhile. Bed sheets were badly stained. Most of the elevators are broken, so if you're on an upper floor, plan on waiting awhile for an elevator. No housekeeping, so if you're there a couple nights, have to deal with your own yeah. Casino is not bad. The restaurants in the food court are decent. Overall, I don't recommend the hotel, but everything else is ok.

Stayed here with a friend a while back for a concert. The room was gross. I took pictures of a broken toilet seat, shower handle, remote didn't work because something sticky was all over it. Topped off with what appeared to be an ejaculate stain on the night stand. I emailed them my pictures and was contacted immediately. Would of preferred a refund but was offered a free room. Months later we reluctantly used the free room for a Wings game. Show up at check in time and had to wait a bit for her to verify if a room was ready that we booked weeks in advance. We get our room keys and head up to see the cleaning lady wasnt finished. The room absolutely reeked of smoke. You cant beat the location but I will never stay again. I will gladly pay more for a positive experience!
