Had a great stay here over the weekend to visit family.
I will say I was hesitant based on the reviews upon arrival, but our experience absolutely surpassed the hesitance.
Anthony the manager went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and exceptional. He was attentive and really did care about the decorum of the guest experience. He checked in often, and made sure we were comfortable throughout the stay. The rooms were clean, bed super comfy, and AC was perfect.
Briana at the front desk was also very professional and poised in addressing some of my check out questions. She remained committed to ensuring I had an exceptional experience with this hotel. I would definitely stay here again when in Detroit. The restaurant downstairs was also super yummy! Those banana french toast will be remembered 😮💨

For my first solo hotel stay I must admit say this place exceeded my expectations amazingly! Not only was my room upgraded to a suite, the check in was a breeze, valet and employees were super kind and patient and money felt worth spent. Room was clean and spacious. However, for a college student it is HEAVY on the expensive side for me so for others I would say be prepared to spend money, I also unfortunately did have a hard time actually getting to the building but that was simply due to construction around the area. Other than that, any future plans that require an overnight stay or longer I definitely recommend coming here.

Our experience at Hotel Indigo Detroit North – Troy was extremely disappointing. We booked this hotel specifically because we wanted to relax and use the pool during our stay.
We arrived around 8:00 PM expecting to check into our room, but we weren't able to access our room until almost 11:00 PM because we were told it had not yet been cleaned. A nearly three-hour wait to check in is completely unacceptable, especially when no proactive communication or meaningful solution was provided. No compensation was initially offered—we had to ask if anything could be done before we were given a single complimentary entrée at the hotel restaurant.
Unfortunately, the restaurant experience was just as disappointing. By the time we were seated, the restaurant was closing in about 20 minutes. Our food was served cold, it took approximately 20 minutes just to receive our drinks, one of our drinks never arrived, and our bill was incorrect.
Because our room wasn't ready until almost 11:00 PM, the pool had already closed. The primary reason we booked this hotel was to enjoy the pool during our stay, but because of the hotel's delay, we never had the opportunity to use it.
To make matters even worse, I have sent two follow-up emails regarding this experience, and neither has received a response. No one has reached out to acknowledge our concerns, apologize, or attempt to resolve the situation. The complete lack of follow-up has only added to our frustration and made us feel that our experience and feedback were not valued.
Overall, the lack of communication, poor customer service, failure to resolve the issues during our stay, and complete lack of response afterward made this a very frustrating experience. We expected much better from Hotel Indigo and left feeling that our concerns were not taken seriously. This experience fell far below the level of service we expected and would make us hesitant to stay at another Hotel Indigo property in the future.

The customer service and integrity of this hotel is unparalleled! We had a piece of luggage accidentally left in the lobby and the staff was suburb about putting it in lost & found and keeping it safe. So grateful!
Special shoutout to Jami & Jazmin for helping us out! Will be back again!

Let’s start with the good…Excellent location, walking distance to so many venues and restaurants. The restaurant staff on site were very friendly and service was quick.
The not so good. The staff when we checked in was very friendly and professional. The valet was disorganized and the check out staff seemed disinterested in our concerns and dismissed our complaint about the leaking shower as our inability to properly operate the nozzle.
The bad. The first room we were assigned was not cleaned from the previous guest. The bed was slept in and the bathroom still had garbage and towels in the floor. As stated earlier the staff was professional and corrected our concern very quickly. The room we did have is where our concerns are focused. The bathroom was not clean. The shower floor and area beneath the shower door were dirty and had not been cleaned in some time. The shower head was a fixed head and a flexible hose with a wand. The hose for the wand leaked excessively allowing for a minimal amount of water to reach the head. The floor was very sticky and the blow dryer was so hot it burned my wife’s hair.
