The food and service was excellent. Davante provided exceptional customer service and gave great recommendations for food and drinks. The cook did a fantastic job as well. I had a burger for lunch and returned later in the evening for dinner where I ordered the chicken Alfredo. The flavor was spot on. Also, the bartender working the afternoon shift was very personable, friendly and ensured everyone was taken care of. He gave me some recommendations on places to visit since it’s my first time in Detroit. I will definitely be staying here if I ever return.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Service During an Unexpected Travel Disruption
Despite an extremely inconvenient four-day flight delay, my experience at Hotel Indigo was genuinely outstanding thanks to the professionalism and care shown by the staff.
I want to make special mention of Anthony Harvey, the manager, and Tyler at the front desk. From the moment the situation became clear, they were attentive, solution-oriented, and genuinely empathetic. My Platinum status was acknowledged without hesitation, and they went above and beyond to ensure that both I and my guests were comfortable during an already stressful travel disruption.
They graciously allowed us to remain in the upgraded rooms we had been assigned, accommodated the extended stay seamlessly, and handled everything with calm efficiency and courtesy. At no point did I feel like an inconvenience — quite the opposite. Their approach reflected true hospitality.
While flight delays are outside anyone’s control, how a hotel responds makes all the difference. Anthony and Tyler turned what could have been a very frustrating experience into a reassuring and comfortable one. Because of their service, Hotel Indigo will absolutely remain a preferred choice for me going forward.
Highly recommended, and sincere thanks to the team for their professionalism and kindness.

Overall a good hotel in a great downtown location. The room was clean, comfortable, and well kept, and the whole place has a modern, stylish feel. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made check-in and the stay smooth and easy. The only downside is the price; for what you pay, it doesn’t fully feel worth the cost compared to some other nearby options. Still, if you catch a decent rate, it’s a solid and pleasant place to stay.

If you looking for modern, chic type hotel, at a reasonable price, rather than luxury, you'll probably like this hotel. For about the past 4 years, this is our go to hotel whenever my husband and I prefer to do an overnight stay Downtown Detroit after a night of hanging out, rather than going home. It's kinda in a cental location Downtown, so there are a to a number of walkable places to go in the area and it's not far from Woodward. The staff is always friendly and hospitable. The overall hotel smells good and is clean. We usually end up with a King Suite, no complaints about the size or view from of the room for two ppl.
There is a restaurant/bar on the main floor of the hotel. I've only had drinks from the bar, so I can comment on the food. The female bartender was very friendly and makes good drinks! I do suggest they get a new TV in the bar, b/c the screen is yellowish colored, instead of clear.

To our surprise we were upgraded to a suite. It was fantastic with an amazing view from the 17 th floor. When we walked in the room they left a personal note thanking us for staying with them. Never have I had that happen. Front desk staff very friendly and the room was clean. Was impressed there was extra blankets&sheets among with a clothes steamer. Location was great to several eateries. We ended the evening down at the Trolly Bar and had an awesome bartender.
