I have made a lot of reviews about a lot of restaurants. I'm not much of a seafood eater, but this had to be one of the best restaurants I have ever been to In My Life. The food was so good it made me change things that I didn't even eat into things that I love. My wife said that her crab imperial what's the best crab she has ever had in her life. And if you follow me at all you know we have been to a lot of restaurants. I don't eat fish, but I have a new favorite fish. I don't like spinach, but I had a dish composed so well I had to eat it. I wish it was possible to give 10 stars. The restaurant, the atmosphere, the view, everything about this restaurant was more phenomenal than any place we have ever been. I cannot stress enough I am not a seafood lover. And I love this place period for the first time ever I used a fork and a knife to cut shrimp. I was using their bread to soak up the seasoning from the appetizer. If you like seafood you will be absolutely over the moon when it comes to this restaurant.

To say the food was outstanding, would be an understatement. The calamari was tender, and extremely flavorful. Oyster Rockefeller was simply delightful. Waygu short ribs were so tender with robust flavor and the Tristan lobster tail is bar none the best I've ever consumed.
Kyle, our waiter, was not only able to offer recommendations but extremely friendly and funny. We will be back again.

Our dining experience was enjoyable, but fell short of expectations. The server, Mark, excelled in explaining the menu and offering suggestions. The Oysters Rockefeller and Seared Sea Scallops appetizers were delicious, with the scallops boasting exceptional flavor and a delectable sauce. However, the Oysters Rockefeller lacked flavor and were overly filled with spinach, missing a touch of salt. The bread, bean, and vinegar accompaniment, as well as the butter, were unimpressive and lacked flavor. In contrast, the table-side filleted Whole Roasted Mediterranean Branzino with lemon butter sauce was outstanding. The second dish, initially intended to be the Florida Red Grouper, was substituted with a local fish due to availability, which, although edible, lacked flavor. The saffron rice pilaf was overcooked, and the black truffle mac and cheese failed to impress, lacking creaminess and flavor. While the dessert cart offered an array of options, we opted not to order. Overall, this restaurant seems overhyped and pricey, given our experience.

Visiting from North Carolina!! A beautiful night celebrating my mom’s 81st birthday at Joe Muer
The food was delicious, the river view was stunning, and the atmosphere couldn’t have been more perfect. Mom was in awe, and everything turned out exactly how I hoped full of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. 🥰

Started out disappointing since I wanted to sit outside on the patio overlooking the Detroit River only to be told it was closed. So, being only myself, I sat at the bar as close to the windows as I could. The bartender was courteous but cold. Not super warm or welcoming but he did his job efficiently. I ordered the Muers Prime Burger. A 28 day aged prime beef burger served on a toasted cibatta bread bun and I surprisingly chose cheddar over american. Of course, I asked for medium rare and was given a perfectly cooked med-rare burger. The truffle fries were amazing! Generously seasoned with an added sprinkle of parmesean. 😋 The burger was pretty amazing... probably my second favorite ever. Being Joe Muers, I'm confident the seafood is just as top notch. Go! But call first if you’re looking to get seated on the patio.
