Motor City Brewing opened back up a few weeks ago and thank goodness they did. This place is magical, the food is absolutely delicious, the ambience is relaxing and the service is on point. The outside of the building reminds me of a beautiful cottage in Port Bo, Spain. Did I also mention that their fried chicken sandwich is divine? This place is a true gem, one that locals may know about and try to keep as their hidden little secret.

This is a really nice place, inside is really well done, the outside area is good, pet friendly. The service is fabulous, and the music is great. I highly recommend stopping here for a beer. Parking is a trick, there is a gravel lot just about a block north with free parking. There is street parking too, but, good luck. 🍻 Oh, and good beer too, I didn't try the food. Pizza and chicken tenders kinda menu 🍻

So my question to the manager is :
How can you not only serve a pizza with very little toppings but also a black burnt pizza on the bottom. And it smelled terrible! I need some answers!!! This is ridiculous... we couldn't even eat this. And I even tipped you

So excited for their second location. Awesome pizza as usual plus cocktails on draft. Hoping they expand their outdoor seating while the weather is still nice.

Two things. One about food. One about beer. Both are hot takes. First, the new chefs recipe for chicken fingers. Good Lord. It's light. It's crispy. It's not heavy. They may be the best chicken fingers in Detroit.
Second, Motor City Brewery should be counted as a the best in Detroit. Their only problem is they've been around too long and they make beer real people drink. You won't find 10 beers that are IPAs with 8% alcohol by volume. Their flagships, Ghettoblaster and Nut Brown are 3.8% and 5%, but they are both fantastic.
Service is always excellent at the Livernoia spot. Got nothing but love for this place. Hopefully New Detroit doesn't destroy it like everything else.
