Great food at a reasonable price. The ambiance is an experience itself. We dinned outside on the patio & ordered a variety of food. The calamari and salmon was my favorite. Most places like this don't serve nice sizing meals but they make sure you've ate enough. I was definitely recommend as a family dinner, date night or special celebration.

When we walked in, we were greeted with a smile and a “Happy Anniversary.” The ambiance was very nice, and our server was knowledgeable and efficient. The drinks and food were very good. I had the pomatini and hubby had the Pinot noir. The beet salad was a great starter. My lamb shank fell off the bone - so good. Chef made a vegetarian dish for my husband, that was also good. Dessert (Nutella Bread pudding) was also fabulous. We walked along the river walk briefly, afterward, and it was a pretty view. Not a bad way to celebrate 20 years!

My fiance and I loved our dining experience at this restaurant. Our food was very good, with the highlight being the salad and deserts. We love the salad so much that we've gone back and ordered it to-go.

Four stars for ambience and service. Excellent menu but taste could be better. I liked the grilled salmon I had, It was perfectly cooked and juicy. The Balognese was not that good. It's definitely an amazing fine dining experience you can have by spending a lot ($$$$).

My wife brought me here on my 52nd birthday. This was our first time here. Being in downtown Detroit I didn't know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised with the area as it was just down the street from Atwater brewery.
There's no signage indicating that you have arrived at the rattlesnake club. However, there is a covered awning-type entrance at the bottom of a flight of stairs that has the rattlesnake club monitor on it.
While climbing the stairs I noticed the handrail was serpentine in shape. At the beginning and end of each section of the handrail was a snakehead in a rattlesnake tail.
At the top of the stairs to the right was a large patio covered by a pergola. You could also see string lights were out. The day we went it was raining heavily and nobody was seated outside. Plus it was early spring and cold.
When we walked through the entrance doors and up to the front desk my wife told the station attendant that we were early for our 7:30 reservation. The woman said that wouldn't be a problem and looked at me and wished me a happy birthday!
We were seated by the window overlooking the patio. The service was excellent!
I ordered the Prime center cut New York steak which was cooked to perfection as was my wife's Filet.
Dessert was presented with a caramel spun sugar pyramid!
If you have the budget, treat yourself to an upscale dining experience!
